coaster swap?! aka mini mug rug?

Wow! I just sent off the last package of my current swaps and I have been wanting some coasters for my desk at work. I'm not worried about the furniture, but I hate getting my papers wet.

I definitely would want multiple coasters (two or four) but I don't have a preference for how many partners... I like getting different things from different people, but I could see how it would get costly to send to too many people, and that would be my only worry.

I org a coaster swap LONG ago and it was a hit.. Just me but not post as a mini mug rug as there are soooo many that do not sew but make amazing coasters never the less and if listed as Mini Mug Rugs could turn off a lot of people that do not sew or not comfy with their sewing skills ... I would be good also as a round robin as I sew but would love to have some smashed Kittys or maybe some little doggies like my dogs or somethign like that.....

I love coasters but like yarn ones, and stone tile etc not always a sewn project I would love to do this again but only if it is to one partner I like matching in my home and would not want a bunch of all over...These would be for my living room I would also think a set of 4-6

wow hard to believe it was 4 years ago..Just looked and wow it was all in my move and I was waiting for my movers to bring my house hold goods~ Now 4 years later I am doing the same thing...Waiting for my movers to come pack my home and move me again..WOW full circle..Hope to join this if it takes off

Oh! In! In! I love making coasters (instant gratification!) yet I keep giving away the ones I make so my own collection is very eclectic - mostly they're ones that didn't turn out quite right in gift sets. So eclectic and flawed. I'd love to get a nice, matching set that I didn't make. Quilted, knitted, tiled, I don't mind!

i was thinking about it! i am thinking that after i get another swap wrapped up i could start thinking about organizing this one....UNLESS someone else wants to get the ball rollin? i wouldnt mind at all!
if i do it, i will have just folks just paired up with one partner....based on feedback that seems alot easier for everyone and alot easier on the organizer as well!
