I'm thinking about buying something from one of the sellers, but before I do, does anyone have a favorite? I'm a sock knitter, so any fav sock yarn from etsy?

I'm a fan of Fearless Fibers (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=32548) sock yarns. Interesting colorways and high quality yarn.

I want to make DH some socks for Christmas that will "knock his socks off" when he wears them.  Grin

I want a nice variegated one so that a simple pattern will look nice and one that won't break the bank.

Any suggestions?  What's your favorite?

I am working with Socks that Rock right now and I love it.  It seems a bit expensive but one skein is all that is needed for a pair, I believe.  I am using it for a scarf.

I like Lion Brand Microspun. It's a sport weight so it's not as thin as a sock weight yarn, but not as bulky as worsted weight either. Alot of people have trouble with Microspun splitting as they knit with it, but I don't have too much trouble. It also washes up nicely.  Smiley

I bought this really great variegated sock yarn on vacation, but I lost the label..  It came in lots of colors and the label was in German.  Maybe someone here can identify it for me?

I know it wasn't Opal, which is the only German sock yarn I can find any information about.

ONLine Supersocke, maybe?

I use it all the time: http://www.woolneedlework.com/Yarn/On_Line_Yarn_Yarn_Collection.htm shows some of the collections. I use it all the time, and it wears and washes really well. Reasonably priced, too - it's all good.

That's it!  I recognise the picture of all the different socks from the label.

Thanks!
