I received my gorgeous package from Larissa-Rasputin today! I was completely spoiled too...

Group shot: I got two pillows (I love pillows!), two (octopus!) pieces of art, and a lovely tin, plus some extra crafty bits.

The art (I think these are going in the bathroom with all the other octopus stuff, but they match my room better so we'll see):


And the awesome pillows: These are already downstairs, they look awesome with all my other odd pillows and such (we have a sort of bohemian cushions and pillows and blankets all over the floor set up)

I've received my lovely package from QueenofMarigold... brace yourself for awesome:



A gear-shaped pincushion.  My cat has designs on it, but the little thief can just back off because this one's MINE!



A smashing aviation-themed notebook in a leather pouch.  The flap IS straight - it only looks crooked because I didn't check I'd closed it properly in my haste to get photos done.  Here's the inside:



Note the map on the inside of the leather case.  Actually, just note all of it, because it's great and I love it.



TEA!

It's black tea with rose petals and lavender.  The whole package had a heavenly scent of lavender when I opened it, and this is why.  It's very nice (I'm a sucker for lavender) and I adore tea, so this was a winner.   The label says "OcTea: for even the most discerning cephalopod".  The back  says "guaranteed to calm the nerves and soothe the temper of even the crankiest kraken".  LOL!!

Lastly, only because it's already on the wall so I nearly forgot to take a photo of it:



'punk life indeed.    There are wheels and gears mixed in with the flowers and vines.  It's got no glass, which suits me because I've got a big move coming up soon, and didn't want anything breakable.

Everything came wrapped in deep red velvety fabric and twine, which I don't have a photo of because I launched straight into opening things,

Wow, that is a great hall! The tea makes me giggle. There's so much detail on the sampler, and I'm drooling over the notebook and pouch.

I came home from work late last night, and found my package from thefourthwall! It had been out in the pouring rain all day, but all was well.

A lovely steampunk art nouveau lady card, and bookmark.

A set of placemats! the picture doesn't do them justice, the colors and fabrics are lovely.

And they're reversible!

And even more goodness, cookie cutters! She bought the key, then taught herself how to do this, and made the rest! I see a lovely steampunk tea party in my future. And I'll be tracing around them for crafty projects, too.

I'm planning a steampunk tea party for early this summer, and I am definitely making myself a set of those--my favorite is the dirigible!

That's one nifty mirror! Great idea on the bottles-I love the labels. And I do like the Teesha Moore patches, well done!

I downloaded the labels from Graphics Fairy, roughed them up with a little sandpaper and modpodged them to the bottles. They were fun to make.
