I was amazed that moniqueramsey has mailed so early, but I am the lucky recipient of the first gallery item. I had asked for desk accessories, so she made me a memo board with lots of Steampunk style. She also made a marker pen and magnet accessories. I love that pen!

We also agreed to swap three Steampunk TM patches, since we both enjoy the same addiction. She made one with gears, stripes, and an old timey city scene. I love them!

Thanks for swapping with me and for kicking off our gallery in style--Steampunk style.

Ooo, a memo board! I never would have thought of that! And the patches are gorgeous!

Those do look great, and the board is an awesome idea. Can't believe someone has already received - I haven't finished making yet!

It is very nice! You can't see it well in the photo, but the board is edged in gold gear prints too.

Well, look what was waiting for me when I got home this weekend? (Apparently it had been waiting for two days already, but nobody told me until I came home Sunday night!)

Everything was wrapped in string and brown paper - perfect for the swap.

Here's a group shot of everything together -

There was so much stuffed into this package, I kept unwrapping things and there was always something more! There was a magnetic paper-doll with two dresses, boots, gloves, a lock and a bunch of keys. Her limbs are jointed with split pins and move. Oh, and the boots have laces! Check it out in the detailed shots here...

There was also a set of magnets (middle right), a journal covered with lovely paper (top right), a box (bottom right) covered with beautiful blue-green paisley fabric (she also sent me the remains of the fabric, along with some lovely gold lace, you can see it in the middle top), and a set of six beautiful handles that she had "just lying around". Gosh! But that's not all, because there was also...

These charming bell jars! They're so sweet. Left to right they have: a stack of books (with a few quills too, I believe?), an airship with some soldier's heads (sorry the light is so dim on this one), a tentacle with some bones and a trio of tiny mushrooms. Some bits came a little unglued, but that won't be hard to fix.

I can't wait to find places for all of these amazing things!

Thank you so much, nobodyhasthisoneyet!
