My boyfriend is a fan of Skyrim, so for Valentine's day I made him a card with the central theme of taking arrows to knees. The card itself was made up of pictures of me holding written signs; for the last panel, I put the below picture of me wearing an [edit:] iron helmet that I  made. A few sheets of fun foam, a roll of masking tape, papier mache, and 6 solid evenings of work brought me this Smiley
If I'd had more time, I would have fixed the nose guard (tapered at the end, instead of straight), and made the horns curlier and more textured. Alas, that's something to think about for next time.

Enjoy!

You don't need a permit for a glue gun.

This is a work of beauty.  It makes me want to do a battle cry.  Also, I love your hand thing holding up the horn.

If I was your boyfriend (which is highly unlikely because I am a lady, but whatever) I would be thrilled.

As a fellow SKYRIM player, I am thoroughly impressed.  Awesome job!  I hope your boyfriend wears it a lot!!

(Technically it's an Iron Helmet in game terms Wink )

I don't even know what Skyrim is but i do know that if that boyfriend of yours doesn't appreciate you, he needs to get smacked upside the head. Very cool.

Thanks for the love, everyone! There's just something about independent validation that makes a girl blush Tongue
