I had a couple of small (5" by 5") artist canvases sitting around, and thought it would be a fun weekend plan to finally do something with them. I haven't really painted anything for a while. So for these, I painted a blue sky and some nice green grass, and then went back to my comfort zone of collage for the image. The house is made of scrapbook paper. I also used some stamps for these: the bird was stamped on and then hand-painted, and the flowers are actually asterisks. I added a little white center to them after stamping.

Very sweet -- I love the flowers on the lawn! I wish my yard looked like that in the summer. Grin

Love the details of the birds and tiny flowers. Is there significance to a boy in one and a girl in the other? What was your paint, acrylic? Colors are so vibrant and true.

Thanks! I did use acrylics. There's no significance to the kids in the windows. I just had the images and they were the right size, so I glued them down. (Such a scientific method.  Cheesy)
