I have always been a long time lurker of Craftster but I finally feel like I have something worth posting.  Last week I finally finished my husband's Zelda blanket.  8-bit style all done in mitered squares. I'm just so happy it's done! I tried to post pictures but since this is my first post I cannot.

I realize these pics aren't all that great but the thing turned out so massively huge that it's hard to get it into one shot Smiley

Off and on it took about a year and a half.  I did have to stop twice and knit some baby blankets for some cute babies.  Each square took about an hour.

Thanks so much for this!! I really wanted to make an 8-bit blanket for my fh but I didn't want to crochet it. It didn't even click that I could do the whole sock blanket squares thing for it. Great idea and nicely done!
