Hey Everyone, my name's Melissa and I live in gorgeous Maine. I first heard about Craftster in Handmade Marketplace by Kari Chapin, fabulous book. She spoke about Craftster swaps and I was intrigued. I've had a love affair with this community ever since, but have yet to get my feet wet. I am so excited for a new Newbie swap to begin. It's so refreshing to just browse through all you amazing, creative and inspiring people. I knit, and I am just beginning with sewing, I got my machine at Christmas specifically to work with recycled wool, and now I am hooked. I've done a little of everything, I love papercrafts, anything that let's me unhook from life's rat race and just give in to any creative outlet. So excited to journey through all you have to offer

Hi, Melissa!  Welcome to getting your feet wet.   Craftster - as you've already discovered - is an amazing place.  You sound a lot like me- you do a little bit of everything.  Isn't it great?  Anyway, I can't wait to see some of your projects.
