I've had my embroidery machine for over a year and have never done an "In The Hoop".  I found this FREEBIE from Five Star Fonts and decided to give it a go.

I'm super happy with the results!

You can get the free design here: http://fivestarfonts.com/free-fonts-designs/free-heart-coin-purse-in-the-hoop/prod_821.html
You can read more about my experience with an In The Hoop design here: http://sewplicity.blogspot.com/2012/02/my-first-in-hoop-design.html

Thanks for looking!

One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep. The great eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire, ash, and dust. The very air you breathe is a poisonous fume.......

Hate to bump this thread after so long, but just stumbled up on it. Very interesting. I'll have to try one for my daughter come Valentine's Day! I've been pulling out fabric and started a fabric stash box for V-D things while I am sorting.
Nice job!
