I still have to work hard to get to the skill that some Craftsters have, but I'm slowly getting there. This was a blanket for a friend of mine, who had a boy. Yep, a boy. But het favourite colour is purple, so I had to go with that. Credit to my sis though, for het colour choice. I sort of knew what I wanted, but she really helped me out.

Oh, and yes, I made a crucial mistake, that's why the blanket refuses to lay flat. The problem with colour changes is that you cannot go back once you've changed colour (at least, I cant't). So I tried to correct it in the bigger rounds, but to no avail. Oh well, as long as they'll use it to lay on top of the baby, it won't show  Tongue.

C&C appreciated.

I love this, I think you did a great job...Love the color choice! What pattern did you use? I've been looking for a baby blanket pattern to make for a friend who is expecting and I love this style!

Had to go look. Luckily, I had it queued in Ravelry, so it was an easy find.

The pattern is really great. I'm not a great crocheter, but this pattern was a breeze. I recommend it!

And again, all the credit for the colour choice, to the sis! I just picked the pattern and really really wanted to use the Catania yarn Tongue.
