Hi!
I made this for boyfriend, as he is such a fan of saint seiya, and he was born in february, so I made him an aquarius gold saint for his birthday. (the picture is the original one, just for comparision, i know it's not the same... but was the best i could, i'm planning on kidnapping him to make him boots and the cape)

It took me about a month to do, but was totally worth it. His robes were a total pain to make!!! i made the body first and then decided to make another and quilt it (mistake!!!) besides... the golden fabric was sooo thin that kept breaking all the time (until I remembered a magic word.... INTERFACE!!!)

Hands are poseable, but decided to give him as a picture i saw.

and this is how he got it (my sister made a flower for him and decided to put it in his hand)

C & c welcome!!

Very cool!  I've been dying to attempt a poppet but have been completely terrified of the prospect at the same time.  His robes look amazing!

He's AWESOME! AND recognizable ^^ The gold armor totally makes him and I'm glad you didn't give up on it. Great job!

@Larissa--> TRY IT! I promise poppet making is a ton of fun. The best thing about it is that there are no mistakes. Every "flaw" just adds to the personality of the poppet. You'll be addicted. Plus they're fairly cheap to make and ---just like quilts---everyone will want one so poppets also make great gifts  Cheesy

He is Awesome great work!!! Roll Eyes  & that robe is beautiful & his hair & eyes & those poseable fingers are great!!!  I don't know him, but he sure looks like the picture!! I'm glad you kept on with it. Sometimes it's good to walk away & stretch & then go back, it helps me a lot!!
