This is the necklace I made for hggdm in the make my collectible swap. Her list of collectibles had "old/costume jewelry" on it; she also had a nifty looking painting on her pinterest that I decided to incorporate. The picture inside the pendant of this necklace and the blue tag are made from those inkjet shrinky dinks. The rest of the necklace is bits and pieces I already had. I used alcohol inks on the bits to make them look old and corroded. The clock part of this necklace is functional (as long as it didn't get damaged in the USPS.) The cracks on the pendant glass were achieved using Inkssentials Crackle Accent; it works great on glass. Ignore the dates on the pics. I was too lazy to reset the time settings on my camera.

Here is the necklace as a whole:

this is a closer picture of the pendant

it's kind of hard to see it in my photos but the middle part of this image is inside the pendant

The little blue tag is also made from  an inkjet shrinky dink. The font I used is named 'all used up'  and the quote is from Ben Franklin : "Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of."
