oh how I love knitting tiny things.
my friend is due to have her baby girl in may. we've been friends since we were 11 and are now approaching 30.
her favorite animals when we were kids were pigs. I think they still are, although I'm not sure if doctors are outwardly too grown up to have such things lol!!!

so. on with the show! the piggies were made using the Kitty socks 101 training pattern. I just added a couple morerows on feet and ankles.

eyes, ears, snout and wiggly tail were crocheted and then sewn on.

I made up the scratchmitts pattern, sorry, I didn't write it down! the frills and drawstring section at the tops of the ribbing are crocheted.

finally, here's some little foot warmers using variegated wool yarn. it's gorgeous to work with. I basically knitted large squares, didn't cast off properly, threaded a tail of yarn through the loops on the needle and removed them form the needle to gather it. I sewed to about 1.5" from the other end, sewed up the other end and then did some ribbing around the ankles.
