I haven't been here in years so I feel weird asking about this but I am anyway.

I have a lot of buttons-not the clothing kind but the message kind. I wear some but I have so many! Some are one of a kind-defunct local bands for example and others I have multiples of. I was looking for ideas on a project/projects to use them.

You could put a bunch of them onto a tote bag or on a hat, or you could mount them in a shadow box on the wall, etc.

You could embed them in resin, or put under a sheet of plastic or glass, on top of a table, etc.

Or you could put a bunch of them face down onto the bed of a photocopier or laser printer (perhaps covering with a shallow white box lid to avoid shadows) and copy onto t-shirt transfer paper; then iron that buttons-image onto white cloth/canvas/etc to use for making a bag or something.
You could copy them in a scanner as well, then print out onto certain kinds of t-shirt transfer paper to use on fabric.
(Quilt stores also sell fabric that can be printed on too.)
