My second-ever recon didn't go as swimmingly as the first. RIP Batizado T-shirt, we hardly knew thee.

Stats
Started Life As:
- A Size M Ladies T-shirt (Acquired at my first and only batizado. I only got as far as Branca/Amarella)
Is Now:

A monstrosity! Ugh!

Tutorial / Pattern Used:
- "Shoulder Chic" from Generation T: 108 Ways to Transform a T-Shirt by Megan Nicolay.
 - "Outer Lace" also from Generation T: 108 Ways to Transform a T-Shirt by Megan Nicolay.

Followed them to the letter. Now I look at it, I probably should've just used "Outer Lace" on it's own or even tried "Fermez la Ruche".

What I Learned:
 - Sleeveless things look crummy on the Captain.
 - Next time, try to get rid of the bleach stain.

I am new here too, still can't post pictures! I have on the other hand lurked and have a few (ok more than a few) projects I have messed up!  I think that even though I was making a new shirt or whatever from something I would have donated or thrown out it's not like I wrecked a perfect good shirt.  Ps I still after the mess, keep some of the material that will become something else.

I wish I knew what to do with this instead of relegating it to the scraps pile... It's a brilliant shade of primary green and as much as I hate what I've done to it, I want to do something nice with it.

I think I might make a book cover out of the back and give it to my Capoeirista friend. Dunno yet.
