Well thank you! I guess it pays to be crazy as some of my co-workers have labeled me from time to time. I think it was the cannon that really earned me that one (lol). My husband was relieved that I stayed working with "wood" and not "metal" otherwise he said I would probably have built a submarine because I'm into military history.

Would you believe I have been told that I "have way too much time on my hands!!"   Roll Eyes  Guess I should have been collecting recipies instead? Thank goodness my husband collected them; he loved to cook! We were a match made in heaven because I didn't have a problem with eating!   Wink

Thank you so much. It is very encouraging to read all these flattering comments. It makes me want to be a better artist. I just wish I had been fortunate enough to attend a good art school or any art school for that matter so I could feel better about what I do. I've been wanting to go to the School Of Visual Arts in NY since a teen, but that's water over the bridge now. Guess it's not so bad to settle for just having fun with whatever I do, right? And I do!
Many thanks,

I can't wait to see your Jerusalem painting. Kudos to you for using an interesting medium. I think it looks more like mosaic than a painting. Not all great artists attended art school. And plenty of mediocre ones have!

That's the reason why I like working with jelly beans ... the work it produces really does resemble mosaics. It is very beautiful in person. Pictures do not do it justice. The colors are beyond imagination.
