So this year my boyfriend went off to college four years away and with my separation anxiety I had a bit of a hard time with it. So I did what most (or all) of us crafters do, I poured my feelings into crafts! I wanted to deal directly with the issue and give myself something to look at to remind me of what we're going through and that it's going to be ok. So I took a rose embroidery design from urbanthreads (I loooove this place!) and made it into a heart shape. The reason the roses are black is that we each have a fake black rose that we keep that we send "messages" and stuff to each other through when we miss each other. I know it's super lame and corny but hey, it's fun and keeps things interesting:) Next thing I decided to do was put some lyrics inside the heart, but the lyrics had to be special. We had kinda decided that "roads that don't end and views that never cease" by we came as romans was our "theme song" for the long-distance part of our relationship. Out of that song I chose "This is how we love" because it represented to me that right now, this is how our relationship and that right now we love each other enough to do the long distance thing:) Now it sits on the stand next to bed. It has defiantly helped me through!

Thank you for looking:) comments and critiques are always welcome Cheesy
