I started a pair of socks this week.  I've been wanting to do the Skew pattern for awhile now and finally decided I have time to do it.  Maybe I should have finished one of my sweaters before starting another project but...I needed something easy. Smiley

What are you guys working on this week?

I haven't actually started anything yet since finishing my sweater... but I think I'm going to do some little soap cozies. I plan to start those tonight, because it feels weird when I'm not knitting something, lol.

Yea, your sweater is beautiful!  It inspires me to keep knitting my cabled one.

Thank you! Definitely keep it up!! Cabled sweaters are so beautiful! I already have my eye on another cable sweater pattern: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gwendolyn-3

I'm also working on a pair of socks. I've made a lot of socks, but this is my first time making toe-up socks and creating my own pattern... it's been interesting. I've always just followed a pattern and hoped it fit, but this time I'm actually measuring and writing the pattern down as I go so it's been ...interesting. I've had to knit and rip a few times now, but I think I'm over the hump.

Nice!! I have yet to try making socks. I bought some yarn to do it with, though. I'll have to give a pair a try!
