Alwaysinmyroom if your stamp is small, you can use a stayzon ink pad to stamp onto fabric. It's waterproof and most craft stores carry them. I ve used it to make canvas tote bags as gifts. It works best on a smooth fabric not a fuzzy one like felt. I ve also found inktense watercolor pencils work well for adding color to a stamped image and are permanent after the initial drying.

-i love to try new crafts, and learn new techniques. my strength is color pencils, but i also scrapbook, stitch, crochet, bead, any excuse to head to the craft store!

thanks!  I found the stayzon ink pad!  I am going to experiment with my awesome Tardis stamp that kbrison made me...I think it will make a lovely new apron for me! Grin

i used this quote in the piece for a swap, this time it's for my daughter. same quote, but with the tardis and in colored pencil.

 in real life the background is more gray than beige. she is really happy with it. i'm also working on some shrinky dinks for her.
