Saw the challenge a while ago and wanted to enter but almost forgot.  I'm new so I'm sure if I'm doing this right.

A closeup of the necklace:

I made a paperbead necklace Smiley I used newspaper (doubled, 1/4 inch wide) to make the beads (then I coated them) and mixed them with some other glass beads, and  key I found.

Heres two more pic's if it works, first the whole necklace;

And a close-up of the beads;

I was looking through other posts, and there was a tip about making paper beads with tubing from something like a spray bottle, incredibly helpful! The only thing I do differently is use stick glue when I roll them, but the other way may work cleaner.  And I always try to coat them with something, I used to use nail polish which can add some interesting color.

I want to win, but there are some other awesome entries, you all are so artistic! I can't wait to try other challenges Smiley

the type on the paper works well with the key - adds a little to the vintagey feel!  Pinning this one!  Cheesy
