Hi all.  A friend gave me this collection of little beaded animals from her travels overseas. I couldn't decide what to do with them until this challenge. I decided to give them a home of their own!  They are all hanging out right now at their critter castle!

I went from the instructions below.  It doesn't say I was supposed to do the beadwork. One thing I like about this forum is the creative ways people think outside the box when doing a monthly challenge and I thought this fulfilled the instructions.

Your challenge this month is to create a project featuring beads.  You can use beads from your stash, purchase new or vintage beads or even create your very own handmade beads.  If it's a bead, it's welcome in this challenge.  You can apply your beads to your project in any method you choose (sew, resin, glue, melt, etc.).  The bead(s) should be the obvious focal point of your project.

I like that you found a way to incorporate the little animals into a project! I also have to say I like the painting on the "hut". If I were a bird and saw this I would DEFINITELY make my nest in there! The lion outside the hole would protect from other birds! Ha ha very cute!
