Aaah! I just discovered this board existed when I went looking for inspiration on a dog sweater last night. I need to start checking it all the time...
I have a toy poodle named Zelda and since her hair is cut pretty short on her body she wears a sweater all winter. I had previously made her a royal blue one from a resized version of
this pattern, but I wasn't paying enough attention and put the collar on totally backwards and just never bothered to change it. It's a really fast to make pattern - just two pieces and the collar, and you don't even have to finish the edges.
Well no more! Last night I finally got my act together and made her a new sweater (same pattern) with some scrap fleece and added some quick embroidery: drew it on paper, put it on Sulky Solvy, then stitched it during an episode of Supernatural.

Ignore my boyfriend's arm intruding on the picture, haha.

If you can't read it the text says "mini monster," which is a completely accurate description. I kept having to chase her around the room to try the sweater on, because apparently me trying to catch her is the best game ever.
