Behold, the wonders of emulsifying wax. I made this conditioner off of a recipe online. It is basically a thinner version of lotion and I did try it on my skin, works fine that way too! It's rich for my fine hair but would be great as a moisturizing pre shampoo treatment. Or I could water it down to work better for my hair type.

I also made a nettle tea-based version with rosemary oils. Fab stuff, although slightly green!

I love it! I've been thinking about doing the whole no-shampoo thing but it's a hard leap to make when you've got dry curly hair Tongue. Conditioner is just something I can't quite let go of. I'd feel better if I was at least making it myself though. Wherever did you find a recipe for this?

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

Awesome! I bet it smells great too!  BTW--I make face masks by making a very light lotion and then adding clay, so if you ever need a mask, take some of this and clay it up! Assuming the oils you used work for your facial skin type!
