And your poppet envelope furniture are going in the doll house.  I love the creativity of this challenge. It is the best one I've seen since I've been on craftster.

I can't wait to see your doll house, LC!   Wink
This really is one of the best challenges on Craftster lately. I wish some more of the popular and immensely talent beaders and jewelry makers had shown up in this one!  Huh
But I'm glad I pushed through and finished, even if it was just for my own
enjoyment.  After all, I get to keep it!  Grin

I may have to bead up Carissa's room. Can you share more  how you attached the beads and such. Yarn? Wire? I'm not asking for a tute, but would like to know how you were inspired to pull this all together.

ETA, I'm thinking this technique for curtains.

I just edited the first post. There is now a tutorial. You can adapt this idea to Suit Your Own Lamp!  You can even strip the fabric off a shade, and take it from there, adjusting to suit your particular shade.
I used # 10 crochet cotton, and a 2.75 steel hook.

Thanks, crafty chic!  Smiley You can make one too! Just take the fabric off a small shade, and cover it with fabric, cotton yarn, or ribbon, and go for it!
This really is a lot of fun sitting here next to me! Cheesy

Oh my Cheesy

Look at that! Every color in existence strung onto one crocheted lamp-sock. You *really* improved the look of that lamp

And can I just say how much the knitted and needlepoint pieces add to the whole effect. It really feels like I'm lying in a field of flowers when I look at it...majestic!

Just gorgeous, I  *honestly* love it

Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to check out my post, and comment! This isn't the kind of thing I usually make~ It gave me an excuse to use up a huge stash of beads I really had no use for!  Loading it up with every
shape and color imaginable was really allowing myself some freedom I rarely put into anything!   It is exactly what I wanted it to be... Crazy! And, I LOVE The way it turned out.
Congrats to our obvious winner!

Well heck, the winner was awesome and meticulous work, but as I'm a lover of clutter (heck, a poet and don't know it) I loved that lamp.
