What kind of bead/finding?

Alrighty, so I have had this urge to make some awesome awesome feather earrings, but, i'm not quiet sure how to make them, I don't want them to look like I just glued on some feathers and bam it's done.

So, here is a picture, and the things that are attached to the feather...what are those exactly? are they beads you clamp together, or are they findings for feathers or what? BUT I must get some of these, cus they look awesome!

Soo if you know what they are, i'd really appreciate if you told me!

It's hard to tell for sure, but those look a lot like the tips you use for leather and cording to attach them to a clasp. They're called "cord ends", if I'm not mistaken.

The ones in your pic are the glue-in type (not the squeeze, etc, type) of end caps for cording, although you could use the other kinds too.

It goes through a bead but is metal and you can attach it to a say earring hook. like this

The finding in that earring is called a "headpin".

That's a long-ish "head pin," which in this case has been threaded through a vertical hole in the disk bead.  Where the shank had emerged from the top of the hole, it was trimmed down to about 3/8" or so in length, then curved into a loop--probably with a pair of round-nose (rosary) pliers.  
That looped end is then the same thing as an "eye pin," but an eye pin has only the already-made loop on one end of the shank, not a small flat "head" like a head pin.  So, eye pins can be purchased or they can be made at the end of any straight wire; head pins can be made too but not as easily or neatly.
