I love making shirts for the men in my family. This year, I got my husband's brother for our Christmas gift exchange. He has actually been making me requests for crafty things, and it has blown my mind! No one asks me for handmade stuff! So when they do, I get super excited! I have a list on my phone for present ideas. Whenever anyone makes a suggestion I pull out my phone and immediately type it in so I won't forget (because I will). I had one of his shirt ideas in my phone since May. Rambling! Onto the shirts! These are done in the freezer paper stenciling method.

BACON!!!! Its on the left top of the shirt. I love how it turned out. And now, progress shots!

Here is the first layer applied. The lovely fatty layer. ^_^

The meaty, chewy layer now, less the paint.

Now with paint! After that I went through with a paint brush and added the thin black lines.
And here is the shirt that he had requested: Meat is murder. Tasty, tasty murder.

Progress shots!

I started with the meaty part of the steak. Here is the first layer of freezer paper down and ready for some red paint.

Red paint is down!

Tada! Meaty part!

Next I did the fatty layer on the top. Here is the freezer paper down and awaiting the white paint.

White paint is down!

Tada! It is looking more and more tasty!

Next is the side fatty layer that I did in a pale yellow paint.

And here it is! Now it just needs black and some writing.

The freezer paper for the black layer is down.

With black paint now.

Here's the black layer. It now just needs to be cleaned up and more black lines to be added with a paint brush. I generally don't do lines with the freezer paper because it doesn't come out as clean and nice as it would if its just painted on.

Here is the words layer. I started painting when I realized that I hadn't gotten a shot of just the freezer paper on. Meh.

Black paint is on.

Then I added the lines and TADA! Shirt!
Thanks for looking!
