I made these for Valentine's day.

I put a satin ribbon on them so I could hang them up like ornaments!

Thanks for looking!

Okay, so I've decided to just post the pattern here directly.

ch 2
rnd 1: 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook (5)
rnd 2: 2 sc in each st, around (10)
rnd 3:  sc in 1st st, 2 sc in nxt st - around (15)
rnd 4: sc in 1st 2 sts, 2 sc in nxt st - around (20)
rnds 5-6: sc in each st - around (20)

make 2 of these and join them together through 4 or 5 stitches.

rnd 7: sc around the whole thing, you want to end up with 34 stitches and may need to increase where the two pieces meet to get the 34  (34)
rnd 8-14: dec 4 times per row; they way I did it was to dec twice when I got to the thin part of the heart or the side of the heart. Dec twice per side x two sides per round = 4 dec per row. I found that this was the best placement for the decreases to keep my heart looking nice and neat.  I did try dec at the center front and back of the heart and did NOT like how the final result looked.
rnd 15-end: dec around to end

all decreases were made over two stitches

Thanks! Hope that makes enough sense. Smiley
oh! and I used worsted weight and a G or H hook

So freakin' cute!  Did you use a commercial pattern?  These would be great for using up scrap yarn/thread.
