all the stores in sydney are selling these... i just dont know why some one would spend AUD $30 plus for one  Undecided

*lol* People will spend that much because they aren't crafty themselves, or are but don't know how super easy those are to make!  And they're trendy - so gotta have it RIGHT NOW!  Not to mention that if you don't know where to shop - buying a few beads and some chain CAN add up!

But super cute.  I like to colour / shape combos!

that looks like it would be cheap AND easy to make.  some chain from a bead store, a bunch of glass beads from a craft store (they sell mixes that while they aren't the BEST quality, are extremely cheap) and some eye pins.  Voila.  The necklace!  Looks like it could be done for less than $10 American.

hey, thx for the comments guys!!! it was a great way to use my leftover beads.

goonie - i just bought the chain by the metre at a fabric store. it was so cheap, a few bucks a metre!!!

I like it! I love making my own versions of expensive jewelry. You can make it your own, and make it better (usually), and make it way cheaper.
