I'm finishing up a previous project right now, and should be starting this swap this weekend or maybe Monday.  Smiley  I think I've got my ideas all mapped out though.  I hope it works out the way I imagining it.

I made a practise fabric basket today! The basket turned out pretty well, considering my brains didn't work today... I started measuring but when I had cut the fabric it appeared the inner fabric was well, about 2 cm too short.... GRRRR

Then I decided to make another one, a bigger basket. This time I measured and cut which went well. BUT then I sewed and noticed (when I was done) that I sewed the wrong sides together.... TWICE! ARRGHH!!

I am glad to say that the rest of the sewing went well and I finished it tonight. It looks good and I already have it in use!
I can take a picture of it tomorrow, when there's (sun)light.  Cheesy

But the good thing is, I know what NOT to do. I have plans what to make my great partner  Cheesy  I will have to wait until Saturday before I have time and a car to go to a crafting store. I need the right fabric and stabilizer!

Oh Wendiek, it seems 3rd time's the charm! I have everything cut and ready to sew for my "alone time" on Sunday Morning.
Perhaps I should do a practice one first too?
Yeah, I better do that!

I have my small just about 90% done. Grin

I made a basket, but it ended up being pretty small.  I think I will make another this weekend.  I've also made pretty good progress on my small item.  Smiley

Hahaha, you don't have to do a practice one first silentblair! My brains weren't functioning, really! Sewing the wrong sides together, twice! How stupid is that! I must have been in the French seams thought of the Craft this tote swap...
No, that is not it, I was just so tired, I couldn't think straight!

But it looks good, I think:

Anyway, I have the fabric I want for the extra. Now I need to figure out how to and then sew!
And girl, you are fast! Almost done with your extra, I better stop typing and start sewing....
