And Susan, glad that you are back on line!
Did you at least enjoy your business trip? (I saw on your blog that you met a Dutch man from "Jumbo" hahaha, I immediately recognized their brand the elephant. It is a big company here! I have a lot of games from Jumbo)

!!! wendiek==Jumbo is such an awesome game company and we just arranged to bring a line of iPad games that they have to the U.S. One person there who i've known for years is Aad Obbens. You people have the most awesome names!

Hahaha, Susan! Well, you met someone with a very Dutch name  Grin

My two children have Dutch names too: Thijs and Joris....

Thijs sounds a bit like Thais but the ij sounds a bit different. I can't explain that.
And Joris well, ehh, the J sounds like the Y in boy and so does the O. The R is more a rolling "r".  IS sounds a bit like your is.

HAHAHA, well that makes sense  Huh

Anyway, I just thought it was funny that you were meeting with someone from Jumbo. That sounds different in Dutch too, BTW. Too bad, we can't add a sound.
Go Jumbo! Which company do you work for Susan? (maybe I've heard of that one...you'll never know)

Right--its like Yumbo I think!
I'm at Pressman--pressmantoy.com is the site. I've been here for gasp 28 years (maybe my game playing has gotten slower, but i never stopped playing!). Great names for your sons. You people are fearless when it comes to putting a bunch of vowels or consonants together Cheesy

All right, well I had another go! Turned out much better than the first one. The best part is, the sides line up haha! This one I was leery about using the white thread bc of the contrast, but I really like the pop against the black. I also changed the size up and like this size better. You really could do any size.

This one is going to a friend at work, and the pink is going to my mom. I realllly want to remake the yellow/black one for myself, and find a Pittsburgh Steelers patch to sew on it....that one will be for MYSELF! Grin

After these two, Im feeling pretty confident about making a nice one for my partner! Smiley
