This sounds like fun!  I'd be up for swapping mini skeins...though I'd be hesitant to take on swapping for the hexi-puffs.

I think I'm going to dye up some mini skeins this weekend!  How much yarn do you usually put in a mini skein?

Hmmm...I think I saw that loudxmouse indicated that it takes about 15 yards for a knitted hexi-puff...and someone else mentioned that it takes about 24 yards to crochet a hexi-puff?

sarahj2001, dyeing mini skeins sounds fun!  I'll have to add that to my list of things to do Cheesy
IMO, I would probably do 30 yard skeins...so that I'd keep 15 yards for me and send the other 15 yards to whoever I'm swapping with Grin  And the upside would be that I'd have enough yardage if someone needs more for crocheted hexi-puffs!

good idea l2e. I pulled apart a 4-ply yarn to make puff last night  Roll Eyes
It is getting CRAZY addicting. I have about 20 now. I found that it look less than the aforementioned 15yds (in a sock weight yarn), but that may vary from gauge to gauge.

But you reckon that 15 yards is a safe amount then?   Better to have a bit leftover than not enough, no? Wink

Interesting idea for a swap. No sock yarn here tho.  Undecided
