I have been on a bit of a stitching mission lately, and have finally finished my WIP of nearly 2 years!!  I made the pattern for the Opeth logo as I thought it would be a brilliant Christmas present for my partner, he just had to wait a while to get it!!  It's stitched on 16 count black aida with two strands of thread.  This was one of those pieces that kept getting put aside for commissions and other projects and inevitably forgotten about.  I am so pleased it is finally finished and almost ready to be hung on the wall Smiley

[Opeth, for those that haven't heard of them are a metal band who have what I think is a totally awesome logo - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opeth]

Close up.

And framed.  It still needs a good iron, but as my house is currently full of coal dust didn't want to risk getting the ironing board out, so is waiting safe in the frame till I can frame it up properly Smiley

I cannot believe that is cross stitch. I don't know the band, but your hoop is very impressive.
