This is a great painting!  I don't see it as sad, my first thought was that Helen was sitting down to rest her weary legs after a full day of cake making.  Can't wait to see the companion picture.

The companion piece has elephants, umbrellas and a flooded room........it will probably be some time before I can get back to work on it, but I'll post it when I'm done.
