My friend who moved away a while back, but comes to visit her hubby every once in a while asked me to paint
her something to have to remember me, and the area.  She wasn't very specific on what she wanted, or even
the color or style of the end product.  So I finally asked her to give me a couple ideas.  She mentioned tropical
fish and a lighthouse.  I have never done a landscape before, so I went with the fish.  At first I struggled with
how to go about the shape, color, and overall look of the fish.  So I did a couple Google searches for inspiration,
and this is what I came up with.  Sorry about the crappy cell phone picture quality.  :\

Crappy cell phone picture---

Awesome, bright, WAY closer to real life, taken with an actual camera in natural light picture!

I usually do not paint like this.... I'm usually redoing furniture, or other more 'craft' type things.  I had fun with this though.

I love it! He's so happy and a little nerdy somehow. It it were mine, it would make me grin every time I saw it.
