I received from Brackish Potato for my letter E theme!  YAY!

Brackish said that she was playing around with some new acrylic paint techniques.  I'm glad you did, because it turned out super cute!  Did you use bubble wrap?  She said that she was originally going for a graffiti look but it ended up looking more like "I love the 80's".  The hubby and I were both born in the 80's, so we do love the 80's.  ^_^  I pretty much love it.  Thanks!

I did use bubble wrap. It was way too much fun. Cheesy I'm glad you like it.
Ooh, and pretty hearts! I love the detailed work.

I am posting this awesome card in both Jan and Feb swaps because I had it noted as a "Jan", but the back of the card says "Feb".  I'm sorta senile sometimes, so I'll cover both bases.  Besides, it's so pretty, it deserves to be seen! It's from Jennden for my Gothic Beauty theme

Yay!  My first ATCs for the February swap!

From Mountains and Clouds I got a number 18 for my Countdown to Thanksgiving theme.  Bright and colorful and pretty!

And then, lucky me!, she included an extra, number 27, titled "Three Sisters":

She thought a lot about the significance of the 27 as it related to Thanksgiving and included the following note:

"The "three sisters" were 3 crops a lot of Native Americans would plant together because they helped each other and the soil.  Corn provided a stalk for beans to climb, and squash provided a ground cover to hold in moisture and keep out critters!  They also each provide the soil with different nutrients, so they don't deplete it.  (The sad thing is when Europeans showed up, they looked at the farming and thought it was haphazard...)"

Way to be super informative!  I LOVE the significance behind the card and the thoughtful sharing!  SO awesome!

Thanks Mountains and Clouds!  Beautiful ATCs!  Smiley
