Cold-ish hello from Montreal!

First, i have to say that I`ve been reading you crafsters for severals years, and am always impress to see how creatives you all are!
I`m loving it:) You have inspired me so much!

So here i go...This is my first post ever...And btw, english is not my first language, sorry in advance hehe!

It is super cold up here and i kind of have the the winter blues...I miss summertime so much....That i have decide to make some summer dresses hehe to make me in the summertime spirit hehe.

I bought the simplicity no2362, and i`ve give it a try!

I`ve made two at first, with some fabric a bought at the thrift store a whiiiiiile ago that i kind of like but i was tired of seing on my shelves...

I`m planning on making a lot more of thoses dresses for summer, but i will probably adjust the bust, buy prettier fabric and add some screen printing/embelisments...
What are you thinking about it?

Have a wonderful day everyone:)

It has pockets?!?! Oh my gosh I'm in love. I adore the shape of the bust and POCKETS! Oh my... The blue patterned fabric is wicked cute too. What's the back of the dress like? I assume from the images that it's a halter neckline, but is it zippered in the back or the side?

Hehe i totally forget to mention it... too nervous probably Smiley
Yes absolutly, there is two comfy pockets (so pratical) , and i could not get a nice decent picture from myself of the back, but yes there is a zip.
i made it halter.... But you can also make 2 straps if you prefer:)
Thank you for your respond!

Oh gosh, I'm having the opposite problem. Winter has been really mild here in Massachusetts, and I've had no need for winter clothes. Dressing for work in driving me crazy because I want to be wearing all my fall colours but I have to wear black and white... I'm not a big fan of commercial patterns (being somewhat short of money, I like the free patterns on Burdastyle etc) but I love the style of this dress so might need to try this one and get the fantastic black and white robot fabric I've been lusting after...
