I just have a few questions, I am really interested in this one though Smiley

1) Are we making these in any colors that we have around?
2) Can/should these be made in all one color? (like 40 blue GDs)
3)How do most of you use the ones you receive?
4)Is there anything more specific about what type of yarn to use? (acrylic, wool blend, baby soft, etc..)

Thanks! I have sooooo much yarn here that it would be nice to get some of it out and use it

1) Yes! It's an awesome stash buster!
2) It says in assorted colors on the first page, but your partner might be cool with them all being the same.
3) I've heard of belts, blankets, bracelets, socks, but personally I put mine in a plastic storage box until I have enough to do anything Smiley
4) The first page says "4-ply worsted weight yarn" which can be anything so long as there's an image like the first one here:

And on a side note, I totally got 3 sets of 40 made while I was working today! WooHoo!!

Hmm.... I would like to do this, but I really need to see how much work I can get done on some other swaps I'm already partnered in first! I might just have to watch this round!

Craft-ADD-Chick...the flower is lovely...just what I like to see this time of year when anticipating Spring... Cheesy

I'm trying to figure out which colors to use up:

1/ a totally Christmas colored stash bust
2/ a totally random set of colors
3/ Both!!

I've started a small baggie of random colors as I'm using the odd lots making up knit scrap blankets.

As for the swap...totally open to anything one sends along!!

Now if I can remember how to send in Questionaire.... Roll Eyes

I'm making mine into a baby blanket.

Also, they should all be acrylic, so that way there aren't any issues if/when people want to wash their finished product.

dang, I am going to have to pass on this.  Most all of my projects are done with wool, wool blend, or cotton yarns.

Bummer! But, as indigo_roses said, yarn mixing doesn't work out too well if the item needs washing. But, I just had an idea, so I'm going to PM you about it...

And, I didn't get any GDs made this week! I did have 4 new kids show up in my amigurumi crochet group, so I got to teach them the basics (some only mastered the chain, while others were able to move on to sc). I am planning on taking hook and yarn with me on vacation, so I can knock them out in no time...
