Surrealism meets Realism.
My favorite style ever.
I had this piece sitting half-finished for months, before I finally had the motivation to finish it. And even then, I had no idea what I was going to do!
But I think it turned out alright, what do you think?

I believe it is on a 10"x12" canvas, with plenty of metallic copper acrylic paint. I LOVE that stuff.

It's gorgeous. I like the way you've made the sun and the clouds look sort-of like a rose.

I like this and I too like surrealism. You did a very fine job of it.

Beautiful and very interesting! An amazing painting.
The background reminds me a bit of Jeroen van Valkenburgs work, ever heard of him? Maybe you will like it. Its very surreal as well, and has backgrounds that are a bit like this.

Anyway, well done, I love it. I will pay attention to the other things you post ^_^

That is stunning! I love the emotion I can feel, and technically it's exquisite, too! I hit "this rocks", you deserve it.
