Meet crochet Starfox.

It was quite a struggle to make him, it took me a month, but now he's finished. I didn't love him at first, now I do! Designing him, and especially his head and face, gave me a bit of a headache. I hope you like him!

There's more about him at my blog: http://sonspopkes.wordpress.com/2012/02/02/crochet-starfox/

Thanks for all your really enthusiastic reactions! That's just so great to hear.

He's made with Letit Lopi wool (except for the green), from Icelandic sheep. It's very rough and fuzzy.

Thanks for the comment about his face. At first I wasn't happy with it. I wanted to give him real Starfox eyes, the big white oval eyes he has, but that didn't work out al all and gave my doll a mean expression. I was really disappointed, it had cost me so much time and effort to make him, and now I didn't like him because he had this mean face....After a lot of doubting and testing different kind of eyes, I decided to just leave the white bit and make the eyes round. And it's just great now. Thanks to my boyfriend's good idea to add a black 'eyelash' above the eyes, he really got the right expression.

I think everybody here knows how important the face of an amigurumi is!
