Sure, July or August sounds good to me. It'll give me some more time to rewatch everything again -and the commentaries, and the extras. I can't believe that at this time next year we'll still be in the same place, story-wise. This show gives me such angst and feelings; season three cannot start soon enough!

Ohh it would be great! I don't know if I'll be around internet on July but in August definitely. And Sherlock fans are used to waiting, right? Wink

I'm in whenever. July or August is great. I have some small projects to finish.

So... um... I can still do this swap, but it will definitely be more like August. I have to completely finish at least one of my other swaps, and then I signed up for a big swap so I don't know when I'll have time to craft for this! Eventually it will happen though!

Thanks for volunteering to organize.  August sounds awesome, I'm traveling in July, so it would have been tight to do

I'm sure it'll be closer to September since I still have to finish up both of the swaps I'm hosting right now!

I've been seeing ads for the new show this fall "Elementary" -- where
Watson is a female character?

anyone else intrigued by that twist?

It's a stupid thing where stupid America wants to be in the stupid limelight (again) and make their own version of a modern Sherlock Holmes (again! this is the third time CBS has tried this you know--http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elementary_(TV_series)#Relation_to_Sherlock_.28BBC.29) and its gonna be stuuppiiidd because they're making Watson a girl and there will be no scarves, or too-tight shirts, or collars turned up to make Sherlock's high cheekbones look razor sharp! I'm pretty sure Doyle would be ashamed of CBS... Undecided

Elementary is equivalent to the great Grimpen Minefield -best to stay clear of it when Sherlock's on the case.  Wink

I'm willing to let it have a shot, but for myself I don't see how it could even come close to the character development of Sherlock and Watson in the BBC version and am a bit annoyed that they had the gall to try and run the same concept concurrently. Frankly, I like the dynamic between Cumberbatch and Freeman and hope they take full advantage of their skills!
