I DID receive today, and I DO like, I DO like!   (DH mailed yours out today, as soon as I get DC# I'll PM you.)

Unfortunately, I cannot take and post photos, so here is a description of all the goodness that is my swap package!  Here goes:

-FOUR CHOCOLATE LADYBUG CANDIES taped to the envelope that held a card!  You KNOW it's going to be an awesome package at that point! 
-A cute card that I am going to keep b/c 1-it has three whales on the front of different sizes and it reminds me of my three kids, and 2-it has a receipe for SUGAR FREE HOT CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!!
-A set of cupcake themed note cards
-A set of two cupcake shaped bath fizzies
-Two knitted, microwaveable, heart shaped hand warmers that can also double as decoration for this month! 
-A HUGE jar of sugar free hot cocoa mix in a nifty glass jar with a beautiful ribbon tied around the neck
-A mug inside a beautifully knitted turquoise cup cozy.  Unfortunately, the mug broke in ways that can't be fixed.  (And I don't understand how, everything was packaged so well.
-A really cool (orange accented) cup/saucer/spoon ceramic picture frame with a really nice poem in it!  (As soon as I'm done posting, it's going in my kitchen!)
-A package of delicious looking chicken and rice soup!
-A very unique polka dot/brown scarf with ruffled accents on the end made up of different fabrics!  I'm going to wear the scarf tomorrow!

Oh, I was so afraid something was going to break.  Well, I'm glad it was the mug and not the jar of cocoa mix... that would have been a super disaster!  I ended up putting together the cocoa mix myself, because I couldn't really find a "local" or "non-Swiss Miss" version of sugar free hot cocoa, so I looked up some recipes and stirred it up in the kitchen!  It's really tasty.  (I had to sample, of course, to make sure it was good enough ) Here are pics:

The handwarmers... there are two, but this gives you a size perspective!

Fortunately the mug cozy works on any standard coffee mug. 

The picture frame, since it's difficult to describe without seeing it:


And a close up of the ruffles on the scarf.  It's all flannel, so super cozy. 


I'm glad it got there "relatively" in tact!  I hope you enjoy and that all the goodies help to keep you warm!

I have received my fabulous package from Miss Barbara today!  We had so much fun spoiling each other, and she definitely loaded me up on the extras! 

First, a group shot:


Two packages of coffee and my favorite soup... mmm, tomato.  Guess what's for dinner tonight!?

Look at all these extras!:


Mmmm... Lindor truffles AND Chocolate-covered coffee beans!  And I giggled at the kleenex, as I had just used up the last of my purse pouch and it was on my list to get some more!  Good timing!

Check out the adorable owl items!  A sweet stuffie and a bookmark!  Love them!



My drink accessory was this awesome coaster set.  The edging is made up of really pretty iridescent seed beads.  And they have robots on them!  Awesome!



The scarf, though, is the piece de resistance!  And I've included the requisite dorky action shot of me wearing the scarf.  Miss Barbara was afraid it would be too long, but I'm almost 6', so long is good!  It's so soft, and I love granny squares, but I'm too lazy to sew them together when I make them, so it was so nice to have someone else do it for me! 



This was such a fun swap!  Thanks so much, Miss Barbara!  Now I'm ready to hunker down in today's blizzard with my coffee, soup and my warm scarf!

well, I received my pkg from the lovely jasminewolverine several days ago,
but just tore into it today due to a very busy week.....
