Merino, banana, alpaca, even newspaper and plastic bags--so many amazing materials that could be used to make beautiful yarns.  I wish one of my new, creative, hand-spinning friends lived close enough to be my personal guide into the world of spinning. Let me know when you're in town!

YouTube is great.. that's how I learned. Smiley

Yup! YouTube is how I learned as well. Megan from "TheArtOfMegan" was particularly helpful Smiley
I just watched her videos to spin my first yarn. Smiley

Me too!  I picked up a couple books to try to figure it out, but actually having the visual really helped.

Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.

My package finally arrived from the Netherlands. It took a little longer than I expected but it was worth the wait. My partner sent me 3 skeins of gorgeous wool yarn. She sent me a black and white sheep's wool, a rust and ivory Merino, and a variegated green sheep's wool. She also sent me a fun pen from Holland as a souvenir. Now I just have to figure out what to make with this cool yarn. Thanks Christina,
