So doing this swap has made me want to spin.  Where do you guys get your roving?  I went to check out micheals to see if they had anything just for starters and it was crazy expensive like three bucks for this itty bitty package!

Try www.thesheepshedstu dio.com.  You can get mill ends for very very cheap, and higher quality stuff for very decent prices, especially if you order in bulk. It's good for learning to spin or dye, since if it doesn't turn out that great you haven't lost a ton of money.
