I hope this is in the right forum.

I've been going to a record store in New Jersey since the early 90's. I would take the train there and buy 10 to 15 CD's with my paycheck every few weeks. Only leaving enough money for lunch, sometimes not even that! I was still living at home, so it didn't matter. Train tickets were also cheaper then too.

Anyhow, Jan 22nd there was a fire a few doors down in a restaurant. It took out 6 or 7 business. One of them was the record store! They had been there for over 20 years I believe. Everything is lost. People are already showing their support for the family to get on their feet and re-open the store eventually.. there's a donation fund setup, a benefit concert, and someone designed a t-shirt with proceeds going to help them.

I was going to do a t-shirt, but will people be interested in another if they already bought one?

I have a design the incorporates the store name and a picture of the owner. It's music related so it'll fit right in. It's 3 colors, black, white, and red. The picture is square. If I can figure out what to make, maybe I'll make a series of items with other pictures as well.

Does anyone have any suggestions of crafty things I can make relatively cheap that I could sell on Etsy? All my proceeds are going to the family as well.

I really have no ideas on what to make here.. I'm not that great of an artist or painter. I did screen printing on a shirt once, but it didn't come out so well and I gave up.
