First time poster, yay!

I have a confession to make: Although I am in the learning process for "real" quilts, rag quilts lay nearest and dearest to my heart. They are cute, homey, and (to me) simpler. So I had to make a queen size quilt out of some random fabrics I had lying around. And here are the pictures of it.

and other views:

Most of the fabrics I used were $1/ yd clearance fabrics from Wal-Mart, but it made one awesome Quilt for me.

p.s. The back is a complete mash-up of random scraps I have accumulated over the past 5 years. Seriously, it's polka dots mixed in with teddy bears mixed in with solids. No one is going to see the back anyway, so why photograph it? lol

Rag quilts rock!!  I make them all the time.   Have you ever thought about using the same method for other items...tote bags...throw pillows...car seat covers...etc...?

I didn't know what a rag quilt was, so I looked it up before responding to your post. I gotta say I'm intrigued! That blanket looks super fluffy and cozy. I might have to make one for myself Smiley
