I adore that hoop!! I got to see an early glimpse of it Smiley. The owl and tree are kind of out from the rest of the hoop. It's hard to describe.

The owl silhouette is stumpworked (well sort of- except I just winged it! lol And instead of clipping close to it, I folded the fabric to the back and glued it because it looked tidyer to me). The background is painted, embroidered, then glued over a cardboard circle and glued to the back of the frame. The silhouette is suspended at the front of the frame using clear thread Smiley
