Ack, I was wondering what happened UF.  I have friends with families over there and they were telling me how bad the flooding was.  Good to hear that you're back safe and sound.  Smiley

Hello STS!!! I missed you guys so much!

Due to unforseen circumstances, mostly my husband's manufacturing plant in Thailand getting submerged in 8 feet of flood waters for two months, I am back in the US and A and ready to join this swap again. I need something positive to take my mind off the fact that I wasn't ready to leave Thailand and how much I miss it already- so I am hoping crafting and chatting with you all will do the trick Smiley

Most of my crafting stuff is on a slow boat from Thailand, but I did pack my spinning wheel and a ton of fiber in our air shipment, so I've been working on completing some handspun yarn for my shop. I plan on taking pictures and opening up my shop sometime this week.

M!  Sorry to hear that you weren't ready to leave...but we're glad to have you back Smiley

Hi STS'ers! I've been thinking about joining you guys in Shop the Swap. I was wondering if there was anything you would like to see in my shop. I crochet, stencil, make jewelry, do some papercrafting, knitting, and simple sewing. I figured before I start working on some stock for my shop I'd ask to see if any specific type of item would be enjoyed.  Smiley

I always love a good stencilled tee. I'm a curvaceous gal though.

Hi everyone, and welcome back UF! Sorry that you had to leave Thailand in that manner, though.  Cry

My shop is open, but will limp along for the moment. We have gotten nothing at all resolved with the rental house with huge damage, and now we have two more empty rentals, one in which a cat managed to destroy all the heating ducts-yay! The house came with flexible heat ducts when hubby bought it. Never thought about a tenants cat that they kept in the basement hopping up on them to sleep and shredding holes in them. Tenants moved out suddenly with no trace instead of telling us about the damage. The heat, of course, does not reach the living area anymore. We have to find $$ to fix it.  Angry I hate rentals. Hate hate hate  them.

I've been crocheting a lot to deal with stress.  Grin

Ugh, so sorry to hear about your rentals LL.  I have always dreamed of having one back home that I could retire too...maybe that's not such a good idea.

Just a suggestion, but if anyone wanted to put together kits for crafts, I would totally scoop something like that up Wink

I would also like to hear more of what people are looking for! I personally would love to see more hand warmers for tiny girl hands, kits, and large cuts of fabric!

what kind of kits are you thinking about squidget?
I could do one for spinning with a drop spindle...maybe part of one for a poppet (instructions/material)
