These drawings were made for my final project in a Drawing II class. Found some beautiful images from Fuck Yeah Hairless Cats tumblr blog and then added some extra elements to them with Photoshop. I used watercolor pencils first, then watercolors to dissolve the pencil and finally regular colored pencils on top of everything.

We were supposed to develop a theme within a series of images. I decided to go with the idea of protection of the weird inside of us all. That it's a beautiful fragile strangeness that needs caring to thrive.

Love these!  Even though the teeth freak me out, and I keep looking at my own cats wondering how they'd look with human teeth....the eyes are crazy great, I keep coming back to look at them!
