I received an awesome daffodil quilted piece work toss pillow slip cover from nilmerg!

Front and back:

(I need to pick up a 14x14 pillow form so apologies for no action shot yet.)

It's so pretty and very "Spring" which I love. As a little girl in Pennsylvania, wild daffodils always were the herald of Spring. They don't grow here in Florida but they remain one of my absolute favorite flowers.  Grin

Thank you!

Bergman made me this amazing wool cowl for my sis.  It's a little small for her unfortunately, but oh so perfect for Lana.  She loves it!

I really liked making it Next time to ensure I get the right size I will use chunkier wool and a bigger needle. You should make a note of that so the next person will get a good size one! I'm glad Lana likes it though!

That daffodil pillow makes me wish it were spring.  Spring (otherwise known as mud season up here) is still a couple of months away.

I like the shape of that cowl bergman made.  Seems like it's be great for tucking keeping drafts out around a coat collar.  What pattern did you use?

The daffodil pillow is amazing! I love the green fabric - Nilmerg uses the coolest fabrics in her pieces.

Lana looks lovely in the cowl and isn't it convenient that the weather turned cool just for her to get some use out of it?

It is a lovely cowl!  Lana is enjoying it!  Wasn't it crazy that it snowed for a minute yesterday Averia?

I can remember planting daffodils with my step dad when I was a kid.  Love that pillow!

I am totally pinning that cowl!  Not that I will need it right now since it was 82 yesterday, 64 today, and will back in the high 70's by tomorrow.  Well I guess I could have used it today LOL!  I want to start collecting Christmas gifts early this year and that would be perfect for my sister or step mom.

I received 2 amazing packages from ChrisSews today!  Smiley  She claimed us for shrinky dink buttons and a ukulele neck.

First up the ukulele neck!!!  We tried it with our cigar box and it is a nice tight fit!  Smiley  I can't tell you how fantastic the neck is, but Chris is a helluv a woodworker!!

John is really looking forward to assembling it.  Smiley  We have all the extra supplies (fret board and pegs) ready, but need to get a drill bit to cut the main hole.  I'll be sure to post a finished pic once it's done in a few weeks.  Smiley

Our second package of shrinky dink buttons and extra shrinky dink papers is also fantastic.  I  have been dying to have some black shrinky dink paper!!

Thanks again for such wonderful goodies Chris!
