another Infinity Dress Question

Hi there!
I'm thinking about making an infinity dress for my brother's wedding.
It seems pretty easy. But I've never sewn stretchy fabric, so i'm afraid to ruin my pretty and expensive fabric.
Is it easy enough to get it right the first time?
Or would you recommend making a sample version with some cheap fabric?

Infinity dresses are pretty straight forward, as long as you work slowly and pay attention to what you're doing, you should be able to successfully make one without a test run.

Just remember that the zig-zag stitch is your friend, and you shouldn't run into many gremlins.
